RoseThicket is a wholistic art and design firm run by
husband and wife team Justina & Trevor Freel.

Together they design sophisticated interior and exterior spaces.  These pieces shown in our window are hand pressed and cut paper silhouettes, mounted to layered glass, separated by 1/2" spacers, framed in bleached walnut box frames.

Stephen's images are created using an 8 x 10 film camera.  Black & white images are printed in the darkroom on silver gelatin paper.  Using long exposures to blur the movement of the landscape, his work takes on a dreamlike quality.

Leaked

Giovanna is a Los Angeles native and recent graduate of Art Center College of Design.  The work we are showing is oil on plexiglas from her "Boxes" series. If you'd like to see the work up close (there's more inside) and meet the artist, stop by for a closing reception on Thursday, June 15 from 6 - 8pm.

California Landscapes

James Osorio makes plein air paintings in the style of California Impressionists. 

Using oil on canvas, his local landscapes come to life through contrasting and vibrant colors.

We met James at the Long Beach Flea Market.  He lives and paints in Alhambra, CA.
